Project Coordinator/Project Manager MIAMI-FLORIDA

Bilingual Subtitle Coordinator

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate multiple localization projects from client order to delivery completion.

• Establish a solid understanding of client technical specifications for subtitle and closed caption projects.

• Communicate project requirements and specs to internal and external teams to guarantee high quality files for delivery.

• Schedule projects with vendors and manage internal delivery dates in order to meet client deadlines, with knowledge of the fact that some last-minute details will occur

• Establish efficient workflows to achieve seamless completion of all moving parts of each project.

• Responsible for providing vendors with feedback in the quest for improving performance and file quality. Ability to spot check and QC subtitle and closed caption files and create QC reports.

• Negotiate best rates with vendors on a project-by-project basis.

• Onboard vendors and freelancers to grow the company’s database.


Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master's degree in communications, linguistics, or related field.

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office/Mac OS.

• 2–3 years’ experience as Project Coordinator or similar role.

• Knowledge of the subtitle post-production process: template creation, subtitle timing, translation, QC, and export of files.

• Understanding client specs related to subtitles and closed caption files. Ability to check files to catch errors and ensure quality files that follow specs.

• Knowledge of leading subtitling software, file export, and troubleshooting in order to correct files that are off-synch or contain corrupt characters.

• Understanding of subtitle formats, i.e., SRT, STL, PAL, PAC, JSON, DFXP, ITT, etc.

• Basic understanding of audio/video formats and technical specifications, i.e., frame rates, aspect ratio, NTSC vs. PAL, etc.

• Fluency in English with excellence in linguistics, strong grammar, and punctuation skills.

• Bilingual is a plus.

• Ability to learn new software, open to training.

• Ability to perform under pressure.

• Immediate availability.

English Artistic Director

• Direction of VO talent in studio to ensure quality standards are met during delivery of actor’s lines
• Operate Pro Tools during record sessions making sure all recorded lines follow internal standards in regard to lip sync, and audio levels. 
• Review scripts during pre-production, and during recording always keeping in mind consistency, language, and context
• Work directly with the Casting Department during the casting of new shows to find the best match for every role 
• Organize and prioritize weekly schedule based on internal deadlines, and line counts per character
