MIAMI: Ken Lorber, President/CEO of “The Kitchen”, the entertainment industry’s only Emmy Award Winning language translation, dubbing & subtitling services facilities, has named Nathalie Pasini to the position of Director of“The Kitchen’s” French Dubbing team, based in Miami.
“French dubbing prices, in France, have become prohibitive for the lower budget telenovela, animation cartoon, or reality show,” Ken Lorber explained. “Over the past six years we have been actively dubbing all formats of programming, from any number of languages, into Parisian French,” and our reputation has become synonymous with high end quality European dubbing, in the US, for much less the cost of dubbing abroad.”
A French native, Nathalie moved to Miami just over two years ago. She is an experienced actor, performer and writer, and is bringing her knowledge and understanding of the French market to “The Kitchen”.
“The Kitchen” is expanding its Miami-based Parisian French language dubbing team, and the expansion is keeping them very busy. I believe in training, and will soon host some dubbing workshops, specifically geared to the Miami-based native French talent that want to learn how to get the most out of their dubbing performance,” the new French artistic head explained.
“I am thoroughly enjoying working on some of the new telenovelas that we are dubbing in to French,” Nathalie smiled. “I didn’t grow up on telenovelas, but I really find them fun. The characters are always so interesting. They live many adventures in their lives, and although I really don’t want to live ALL of their overly dramatic adventures…I wouldn’t mind living some of them!
“The Kitchen” works to and from every language, for all formats and genres of programming, and has offices/studios in Miami, Los Angeles and Caracas, and affiliates worldwide.
