The Kitchen has promoted Ashley Perdigon to Production Manager. Perdigon, who joined the studio in 2020 and previously served as Casting Manager for over five years, will now be responsible for the complete production cycle at the Miami headquarters, including casting, audio production, and audio post-services.
“There is no one more qualified to lead our production teams,” explained Ken Lorber, President/CEO of The Kitchen. “Ashley is a dedicated professional who will rely on her years with us, as well as her theatrical and TV background, to streamline the workflows she already knows so well. I am thrilled to have her in her new leadership role.”
Perdigon’s trajectory within the company has been marked by a deep understanding of multi-language and multi-genre projects. In her new capacity, she aims to build on existing efficiencies while maintaining a focus on the human element of production management.
“I’m genuinely up for the challenge. I’m coming into this with an open mind and I’m really looking forward to collaborating with the team to find new efficiencies and build on what’s already working. It feels like a natural next step, and I’m ready,” reflected Perdigon. “Every role I’ve held has required me to hold a lot of moving pieces at once, while keeping the human element at the center. I’ve developed a real fluency in organization, communication, and thinking on my feet. This type of foundation translates directly into production management.”
The promotion comes as the Emmy Award-winning language localization company celebrates its 25th anniversary and seeks to streamline its audio and casting services.
