Señal News: "The Kitchen Miami Expands LATAM Localization Services Amid Rising Global Demand"

Señal News May 19, 2026

The Kitchen Miami is expanding its Latin American localization operations in response to a significant rise in demand for Latin American Spanish (LAS) and Brazilian Portuguese (BPO) dubbing services. Founded in 2001 as an offshoot of the Venezuela-based Cisneros Television Group to provide language dubbing for its 11 in-house networks, the studio has since evolved into a major localization hub serving global content distributors.

Over the years, the company’s services across Latin American markets have grown steadily, along with its ability to work to and from multiple languages. “We do work to and from all languages, in each territory, including working throughout LATAM to enhance our local talent pool. Providing language dubbing services, in Latin Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese, however, was always a mainstay here in our Miami studios. Miami is known as the Gateway to Latin America and the City is now home to many native-speaking LAS and BPO actors”, said Ashley Perdigon, Production Manager for The Kitchen.

Perdigon noted a recent acceleration in demand for these services. “Recently, we’ve encountered a tremendous influx of requests for both LATAM languages,” she added. “LAS and BPO dubbing is now a requirement for most global distribution of content and native speakers in both languages are in abundance in territory and in Miami.”

The Kitchen’s portfolio reflects its longstanding presence in the localization sector. “The Kitchen, for example, has been providing language services for Paramount’s South Park for all 28 seasons, for NBC telenovelas for over 20 years, and for hundreds of films, series, documentaries, animation and anime programs as well,” Perdigon added.

In response to the surge in LATAM dubbing requests, the company is continuing to scale its Miami-based LAS and BPO teams. “We’ve brought in seasoned dubbing directors; new, native voice talent of all ages; updated our studios technically and were just awarded our third consecutive TPN (Trusted Partner Network) Gold Badge assuring clients’ of the highest content security of all program content, a demand of most major studios and networks today,” Perdigon continued.

The expansion underscores Miami’s strategic role as a localization gateway to Latin America and highlights The Kitchen’s efforts to meet growing global distribution requirements with enhanced talent, technical capabilities and security standards.
