The Emmy Award-winning language localization studio is marking a quarter-century of helping entertainment content cross international borders, featuring prominent participation at upcoming trade shows in Amsterdam and Cannes.
The Kitchen is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2026 while continuing its active engagement in the international market. The executive team will participate in upcoming industry trade shows, with Liz Clarke, Director of Global Sales, attending IBC in Amsterdam, and President and CEO Ken Lorber alongside Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Deeny Kaplan, Senior Strategic Advisor Josh Pine, and Clarke representing the company at MIPCOM in Cannes.
"For 25 years, The Kitchen has been dedicated to a simple but powerful mission: helping great content connect with audiences everywhere," said Ken Lorber, President and CEO. "As the media landscape continues to evolve globally, the need for high-quality localization, accessibility, and cultural adaptation has never been greater. We are proud of our history, grateful to our clients and partners, and excited about the future of international content distribution."
The company's milestone anniversary coincides with a growing demand for multilingual adaptation driven by the expansion of global streaming platforms, broadcasters, and FAST channels across all genres, including scripted, unscripted, children's, animation, feature films, and documentaries. Among its core offerings at these events will be "MIP CLIPS," a long-standing proprietary promotional tool that allows rights holders to present localized video samples directly to prospective buyers during trade fairs.
"Hearing content in your own language changes everything," noted Liz Clarke, Director of Global Sales. "While posters and brochures are important, localized content creates instant engagement. 'MIP CLIPS' continues to be an invaluable sales and marketing asset for distributors seeking to maximize the impact of their content at international markets."
In addition to its promotional tools, the company will showcase its complete suite of media services—comprising dubbing, subtitling, translation, closed captioning, audio description, M&E recreation, and multilingual preparation—backed by its TPN Gold Shield certification for content security.
"MIPCOM has always been one of the most important events on our calendar," added Deeny Kaplan, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. "For 25 years, it has provided an unmatched opportunity to strengthen relationships, discover new opportunities, and celebrate the global content business. The connections we make at MIPCOM and IBC continue to shape our growth and reinforce our commitment to serving the international media community."
